Things we love...

Home Depot
In a society where customer service has seemingly gone down the toilet, I have to give credit when I receive excellent customer service. Remember the receipt incident with the Evil Empire?(I recently saw another blog refer to this store as Voldemart) Today I had some things to return to Home Depot. I thought I had remembered to keep my receipt, but upon turning my purse inside out I realized that I must have thrown it out. I decided to try and return the items anyway. What could it hurt? And guess what? Home Depot can look up a past sale using your credit / debit card! I have also learned that Kohl's can do this as well. Come on Walmart, you make enough money to buy this technology as well.

Xlear
After reading about this product in the Healthy Utah magazine (the free magazine at the doctor's office), I decided to give it a try. The basic idea behind the product is that keeping your nose clean will help you stay healthy. I have been using this all fall and winter with excellent results. I have only been sick twice and both times the illness was much milder than it usually would have been. Right now I have a respiratory infection that in the past has sent me to the hospital or at least to Instacare for a breathing treatment. So far, even though I think I'm going to cough up a lung, my breathing is okay.

Amen to "get the technology"!

and Amen to the "up the nose stuff" (as my kids like to call it). We've been using Zicam & Russell completely skipped his normal 6 weeks of sickness from January to mid-February!

Great stuff! :)

Well I am glad that Home Depot treated you well. I won't shop there anymore they ticked me off. Although my husband had to go there the other day because he couldn't find what he needed anywhere else. When my boys see it they say we hate that place right mom?

I'm not very good at boycotting the places I hate. That's why Jonathan says, "Mom, I thought this place was evil." every time we pull into the Walmart parking lot.

1) Target has that too. LOVE it. I got the wrong sized jacket for Ella and couldn't find my receipt, and I was thinking I was going to have to just sigh and eat the $16, but nope. They happily let me exchange and offered to just put the money back on my card, if I wanted.

I've also had great service at Home Depot. In fact, if you're in the American Fork one and ever have a plumbing question, there is this older gentleman who works there who is THE BEST plumbing helper ever. He gives you totally exact instructions, helps you pick the right (and NOT the most expensive) parts, and is so cheerful and friendly. We always go looking for him when we have questions and he's never lead us wrong. He's awesome.

2) We've used Xlear since Hannah was a baby and it is AMAZING. And made in Utah, so yay for that.
